Full-time work hours align with regular business hours, although occasional evening and weekend availability may be required for special events and community programs.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs through comprehensive interviews, ensuring an individualized approach to each case.
• Provide essential counseling and support to individuals and families dealing with a range of challenges, from mental health issues to crisis intervention.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic methods that are tailored to the needs of our diverse client population.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized service plans that focus on achieving their specific goals and objectives.
• Actively advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and addressing any social justice concerns that may arise.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of program initiatives while participating in grant writing and reporting to secure funding for ongoing projects.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, government entities, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and community outreach efforts.
• Engage in ongoing team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continually refine your skills and contribute to our mission.

Your work as an LCSW at Change Makers LLC will focus on a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities, and life experiences. Our client population may include those facing mental health challenges, trauma, socioeconomic struggles, and systemic barriers to resources. Your empathy, sensitivity, and understanding of these factors will be critical in facilitating their journey toward healing and empowerment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based practices in therapy and social work methodologies.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral, facilitating clear interactions with clients, partners, and colleagues.
• Empathetic approach toward diverse populations and a commitment to foster equitable healing environments.

• Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization or similar community-based setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and advocacy for social justice initiatives.
• Experience in program development and grant writing, which will be essential in our ongoing efforts to secure resources for community support.
• Skills in collaborating with various stakeholders, including community groups, healthcare providers, and governmental organizations.
