Position Overview

Empowerment Pathways Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide responsive and empathetic mental health support in an outpatient setting. As part of our remote team, you will leverage your skills to assess, treat, and manage the emotional and psychological well-being of our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client assessments through interviews and standardized assessments to identify mental health conditions and needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to foster emotional health and resilience.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and family discussions that promote healing through shared experiences and support.
  • Continuously monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with clients to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Document all client interactions, treatment updates, and progress notes accurately within our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Engage in teamwork, collaborating with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care, including referrals to specialists as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to remain updated on mental health advancements and therapeutic methodologies.

Qualifications
