Position Overview

Empowerment Pathways Counseling Center seeks a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to support our clients in navigating life challenges and achieving mental well-being. Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while still being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. Our virtual workspace leverages a variety of telehealth technologies to ensure seamless communication with clients and colleagues. You'll have access to resources that facilitate remote client engagement, including secure messaging systems and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused counseling for individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare providers to discuss treatment updates, optimize client care strategies, and contribute to a holistic treatment approach.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and privacy of client information while ensuring adherence to ethical and legal guidelines in all professional interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural backgrounds. Our clients face a plethora of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, and more. Your expertise will assist them in developing coping strategies, improving their mental health, and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting, demonstrating a competitive skill set in individual and family therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a therapeutic alliance with clients and a collaborative spirit with team members.
• Proficient in utilizing digital tools for telehealth sessions, documentation, and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health clinic or mental health setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and their practical application in diverse populations.
• Background in crisis intervention strategies and working with at-risk populations.

Compensation and Benefits

At Empowerment Pathways Counseling Center, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
