As a global leader in clinical diagnostics, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics has challenged convention to elevate the diagnostic laboratory's role in improving patient health for more than 90 years. Our diagnostic solutions are used in routine and complex clinical testing in hospitals, reference and research laboratories, and physician offices around the world.

The Global Commercial Demand Planning Director is responsible for leading a globally standardized commercial demand planning process across regions, translating commercial priorities into a clear and aligned demand signal that supports execution, operational readiness, and financial predictability.

This position reports to the Vice President, Commercial Growth and is part of the Global Demand Planning team. The primary location for this role is US-Remote, and the position will be fully remote, with the ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Translate commercial priorities, growth plans, product launches, portfolio transitions, and market dynamics into an aligned global demand plan.

  • Establish clear ownership of demand signals while incorporating disciplined regional input, market intelligence, and scenario-based decision-making.

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to align demand signals with capacity, service, inventory, cost, revenue, margin, and working capital commitments.

  • Provide senior leaders with decision-ready insights on risks, opportunities, scenarios, and trade-offs that connect demand planning to strategy, growth, and business performance.

  • Apply Danaher Business System principles to improve forecast accuracy, reduce bias and volatility, increase transparency, and drive continuous improvement in global planning reliability.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, finance, engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience across demand planning, commercial planning, supply chain, or commercial operations in a global environment.

  • Demonstrated hands-on demand planning experience, including forecast accuracy, bias reduction, signal integrity, volatility management, and structured root-cause problem solving.

  • Experience leading cross-functional planning processes across regions without direct authority.

  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working within the Danaher Business System or a comparable lean operating system.

  • Operating in diagnostics, life sciences, medical technology, or another regulated global industry.

  • Using advanced planning, forecasting, enterprise resource planning, or business intelligence systems to support global demand decisions.
