• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ needs, abilities, and behaviors through interviews, behavioral observations, and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, addiction issues, and complex trauma responses.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, ensuring that every patient receives care tailored to their unique experiences and challenges.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate holistic care approaches.
• Provide professional consultation and support to other team members, facilitating a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in alignment with state and federal regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality and ensure quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices in social work.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals facing addiction, mental health disorders, and their associated challenges. You will engage with a diverse patient population, including those experiencing acute and chronic psychiatric conditions, individuals in crisis, and those navigating complex life transitions. Your empathetic approach will provide them with the necessary support to promote recovery and emotional well-being.

• A master’s degree in Social Work, with an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential issued by the State of California.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• An understanding of mental health policies, ethical standards, and treatment interventions.
• A commitment to patient-centered care and a compassionate outlook towards individuals in distress.

• Prior experience working with patients diagnosed with psychiatric disabilities or those undergoing detox treatment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and a willingness to pursue continuing education in specialized areas of social work.
• Experience with digital health tools to manage documentation and deliver remote care effectively.
