• Conduct thorough and comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify client needs and challenges, ensuring a foundation for effective treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized and evidence-based treatment plans tailored specifically to each client’s goals and circumstances.
• Utilize solution-focused and trauma-informed interventions, engaging clients in meaningful therapeutic processes that lead to positive outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines to protect client privacy.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals and other social workers, to provide holistic care and a coordinated approach to client treatment.

The primary client population includes individuals undergoing detoxification from substances, many of whom have been impacted by trauma, anxiety, and depression. Your ability to provide empathetic and culturally competent care is essential in helping clients navigate their recovery process and address underlying mental health issues.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, confirming your education in the field of mental health.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas, allowing you to provide clinical services legally and ethically.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health or social work settings, demonstrating your capability in patient care.
• Strong skills in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly those focused on trauma and recovery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to manage complex client situations.
• A strong commitment to working within a collaborative team environment, specializing in holistic care.

• Experience working in detoxification or substance use recovery settings is highly valued and will provide context for understanding client challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation and managing treatment plans.
• Continuing education or certifications in trauma-informed care or substance use treatment methodologies.
