This full-time position operates within a remote setting, leveraging modern telehealth technologies to connect with and support patients. You will engage in virtual sessions from the comfort of your own home or any location that fosters your own productivity and well-being. Our typical work week runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing structure while allowing flexibility.

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to identify their mental and emotional challenges, leveraging your experience to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Provide ongoing individual therapy sessions where you will actively listen to patient concerns, cultivate therapeutic relationships, and guide them towards developing coping strategies.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued efficacy and response to therapy.
• Collaborate with social service agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to seamlessly coordinate care and connect patients with additional resources and support.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma and stress coping mechanisms, supporting a holistic approach to mental health.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated on industry developments.

Your primary focus will be working with trauma injury patients, helping them to process their experiences and develop strategies to manage their emotional and psychological responses. You will play a vital role in guiding these individuals through the recovery process, offering a safe space where healing can commence.

• A valid Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field is required.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience working with trauma patients, showcasing your ability to handle complex emotional disorders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, critical for documentation and communication.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.

• Experience with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to track patient data and progress.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices in remote therapy.
• Background in trauma-informed care practices, ensuring a tailored approach to each patient’s unique needs.
