Our mission is to deliver exceptional treatment that addresses the complex nature of mental and emotional disorders. We prioritize comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing support for our patients and their families.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing for a balance between efficient patient care and personal work-life management. While the majority of your daily responsibilities will be performed virtually, you will also have access to our outpatient office for in-person consultations and meetings. Team collaboration is encouraged through regular virtual check-ins, enhancing our collective effort in providing outstanding therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in regular meetings with patients, providing a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings, while guiding them in understanding their experiences.
  • Educate patients and their families on coping mechanisms for trauma and stress management, introducing practical strategies for integrating these techniques into everyday life.
  • Monitor patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure goals are being met; document changes and outcomes within clinical records.
  • Foster collaboration with social services, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care and access additional resources for patients.
  • Stay current in mental health practices by participating in continuing education opportunities, ensuring that you maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on supporting trauma injury patients who face significant mental health challenges stemming from their experiences. These individuals may struggle with conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression, requiring a counselor who is not only knowledgeable but also empathetic. By employing a client-centered approach, you will facilitate their journey towards emotional healing and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.
  • Valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • A minimum of three years of hands-on experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating a robust understanding of the complexities involved.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect effectively with patients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Salesforce is highly desirable, as it can streamline documentation and patient care processes.
  • A diverse background working within a multidisciplinary team is advantageous, enhancing collaborative care efforts across various health disciplines.
