Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is a physician-led specialty health care organization whose core business is to provide evidence-based, individualized treatment services for those suffering with chronic pelvic pain. Approximately 15-25% of men and women suffer from pelvic discomfort. In the US chronic pelvic pain impacts 28 million women and is projected to grow to 43.6 million by 2050 according to the NICHD.

Persistent pelvic pain is often overlooked, untreated, and misguided. At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms. Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine has positioned itself at the center of the pelvic pain ecosystem. We are nationally recognized experts dedicated to reducing the number of people suffering from this affliction. Our unique outpatient, non-operative, minimally invasive ultrasound-guided approach to the pelvis is the first of its kind in the country. JOB TITLE: Credentialing Specialist 

LOCATION: Remote- This is a remote opportunity; candidates must reside in the US.

DEPARTMENT: Operations

SALARY: $55-60K annually

ROLE OVERVIEW: 

PRM is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Credentialing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing applications for provider privileges, ensuring compliance with stringent deadlines. You will analyze provider credentialing files for completeness and accuracy while addressing any issues or changes that may arise. Additionally, you will respond to inquiries from providers through various communication channels and administer the re-credentialing process for Physicians and CRNAs while adhering to HIPAA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in provider credentialing, along with proficiency in credentialing/enrollment software. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will engage with multiple stakeholders across different organizations. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while utilizing problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills is crucial for success in this position. You will also have the opportunity to assist with special projects and process redesign initiatives as requested.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Reviews and processes applications for provider privileges
  • Focuses on follow-up, follow through and achievement of stringent deadlines
  • Reviews and analyzes provider credentialing file for completeness, accuracy, issues, and changes
  • Responds to provider inquiries received by letter, phone, or internal departments
  • Administers re-credentialing of Physicians and CRNAs
  • Complies with HIPAA regulations
  • Assists with other special projects and process redesign initiatives as requested

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in provider credentialing
  • Previous experience with provider credentialing/enrollment software 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in various organizations
  • Must be able to work well under pressure in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Possess strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
