• Conduct thorough assessments with clients to understand their emotional and psychological needs, focusing on issues related to romantic and family relationships.
• Provide weekly therapy sessions for families and couples dealing with a variety of personal and relational dilemmas, such as divorce, custody battles, financial strain, abuse, and mental health challenges.
• Empower clients by helping them identify and utilize personal coping strategies and effective communication techniques for navigating conflicts in their relationships.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, crafting personalized treatment plans that address each client’s distinct goals and circumstances.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, other counselors, and educational professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies for various client populations.
• Facilitate court-mandated evaluations for children when necessary, providing recommendations regarding custody arrangements based on observations made during sessions.
• Assist clients in accessing external resources and services to complement their therapy, such as housing support and financial assistance programs.
• Lead educational sessions for other healthcare professionals during staff development days, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of stress management techniques.

The therapist will engage with a diverse client population, including families experiencing trauma, couples seeking to enhance communication, and individuals confronting challenges related to familial relationships. • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
