Job Summary: 

The Paid Media Manager owns strategy and execution across all paid media channels (paid search and paid social) for our portfolio of brands. This role stays deeply engaged in the platforms, working actively within campaign builds, targeting, and optimization, while elevating the performanceand efficiency of our paid media program overall. This role is directly accountable for overall paid media channel performance, including lead volume, CAC, and spend efficiency across the portfolio, and is the strategic decision-maker on budget allocation and testing priorities. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Own overall paid media strategy and channel performance across paid search and paid social, including lead volume, CAC, and spend efficiency. 

  • Continuously optimize campaigns and platform settings (bidding strategies, targeting, ad formats, automation features) to improve performance over time. 

  • Stay ahead of paid search and paid social trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes, and proactively apply them to keep our program competitive. 

  • Actively manage campaign builds, targeting, and optimization within paid digital platforms. 

  • Set and manage budget allocation across brands and channels based on performance and growth priorities 

  • Balance lead volume with CAC and spend efficiency across campaigns. 

  • Report on channel and portfolio performance, including clear recommendations. 

  • Review and refine campaign builds, targeting, and creative before and during launch. 

  • Diagnose underperforming campaigns and directly implement corrective action. 

  • Build and maintain an ongoing testing roadmap across creative, audience, bidding strategy, and landing pages. 

  • Translate test results into strategic changes to targeting, budget, or channel mix. 

  • Provide creative recommendations based on campaign performance data, partnering with creative/brand stakeholders to inform new concepts and iterations. 

  • Own conversion tracking accuracy across platforms, including GA4, Meta Conversions API, and platform-level pixel/tag health. 

  • Identify and resolve attribution or tracking discrepancies, partnering with development resources as needed. 

  • Collaborate with brand and creative stakeholders to ensure campaign assets meet performance and brand standards 

  • Build repeatable processes, playbooks, and documentation for campaign launches, testing, and reporting so best practices scale across brands

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Minimum of 5+ years managing paid media campaigns, including direct experience managing six-figure monthly ad spend or greater 

  • Demonstrated career progression into roles with increasing scope, budget, and ownership. 

  • Strong working knowledge of both paid search and paid social platforms, with a track record of elevating the maturity and performance of a paid program 

  • Demonstrated ability to independently build and prioritize testing roadmap 

  • Track record of optimizing campaigns for efficiency (CAC, ROAS) alongside volume, not just one or the other 

  • Ability to translate performance data into specific, actionable creative recommendations 

  • Working knowledge of conversion tracking and attribution, including GA4 and conversions API setups 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into strategic recommendations 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting performance results to leadership 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 

  • 5+ years of Paid Search and Paid Social experience 

  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and basic troubleshooting of tagging/pixel issues
