Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's recovery journey.
• Continuously assess clients’ treatment needs through comprehensive evaluations, ensuring an ongoing understanding of their progress.
• Assist in creating, monitoring, and adjusting individual service plans that address specific goals and challenges faced by clients.
• Facilitate skill-building sessions that help clients enhance their coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Educate clients about available community resources, acting as an advocate to help them access the services they need.
• Provide guidance to clients in establishing routines and developing essential daily living skills to foster community integration.
• Monitor and manage symptoms, offering strategies for behavioral and anger management as per individual needs.
• Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of client information while adhering to ethical guidelines and standards.
• Support clients through closure and aftercare planning to facilitate ongoing support following formal treatment.
• Understand and address family developmental issues that may impact a client’s mental health and overall wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adults aged 18 and older experiencing various mental health challenges. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma histories, and significant life transitions. Our aim is to help these individuals gain stability in their lives and empower them to engage meaningfully within their communities. By engaging clients in recovery-oriented practices, you will directly contribute to enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• A current license to practice in the state of Nevada, which may include the following credentials: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Capability to practice independently without the need for supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions associated with licensure.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' experiences.
• Proficient with technology, ensuring effective communication and documentation in a virtual format.
• A reliable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate remote work operations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing direct clinical services in counseling or therapy settings, particularly in outpatient environments.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and intervention strategies that support diverse client needs.
• Demonstrated success in working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, leveraging peer insights to enhance treatment effectiveness.
