Description

SAIC has an opening for a Launch Cost Estimator Analyst who will utilize and enhance their skills in budget formulation and budget excursion cost estimating and analysis by supporting programs related to the development and acquisition of launch vehicles for various legacy and emergent programs of the DOD and Intelligence communities. The support and expertise the selected candidate provides will have direct impact on the objectives of our national defense and security.  The position can be in El Segundo, CA 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of cost and economic analyses and assist in the development and presentation of management level briefings as needed.
  • Interface with government project offi

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience. In lieu of 4-year degree, additional years of experience many be considered Must have the ability to gather and analyze technical, programmatic, schedule, labor and cost data to support the development of various types of cost estimates.
  • Must have the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations, formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation and other managerial functions.
  • Must be able to identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials and labor expenses.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills are required.
  • Proficient in the use of M/S office applications, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • TS/SCI with CI poly is required.
    Travel Requirements:
  • Yes, up to 10% of the time.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
