Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake sessions with incoming clients, performing thorough Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to determine initial treatment needs and establish an appropriate diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans guided by evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with the latest DSM V standards for mental health diagnoses.
• Provide therapy and supportive counseling to clients suffering from complex or co-occurring disorders, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification, and brief therapy during sessions.
• Train and educate team members and staff on clinical practices, reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations, assessing the urgency of client needs, and providing the necessary intervention and resources.
• Oversee and provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with other community professionals to develop cross-system care plans, enhancing coordination of care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role emphasizes working with a diverse client population, particularly individuals from marginalized backgrounds and families facing unique challenges. A focus on maternal clients highlights our commitment to addressing specific health determinants that impact the well-being of mothers and their children. The successful therapist will be skilled in managing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
• An independent mental health license in the state of Oregon such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Proficiency in electronic communication and Windows applications, with familiarity in managing electronic medical records efficiently.
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload while collaborating effectively with providers and support staff.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based practices, particularly in treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• A background in community health services and working with medically underserved populations is highly desirable.
• A proven commitment to making a positive impact on individuals’ lives through behavioral health interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
