Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health, focusing on their unique circumstances and postpartum experiences.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific emotional and psychological needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, for individuals, couples, and families.
• Regularly evaluate client progress, adapting treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client sessions, ensuring compliance with established ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and mental health professionals to coordinate care and share best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and treatment methodologies in maternal mental health, applying new knowledge to your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with new and expecting parents facing a range of mental health challenges, including postpartum depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Your expertise will help clients navigate these complexities through a compassionate, understanding approach tailored to each individual's experiences and cultural background.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a mental health professional in Oregon, including LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health therapy, preferably within maternal health or related fields.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a remote team.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to maternal mental health.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques.
• Training or certification in specialized therapies beneficial for postpartum mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
