Job description

MARKETING MANAGER (BRAND ACTIVATION & GROWTH)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can think like an agency and execute like an operator.

This role will work closely with the SVP of Marketing on brand strategy and positioning—then bring it to life through campaigns, content, digital execution, and events.

You will be responsible for activating and scaling our brands across multiple industry sectors—including digital infrastructure, energy, and government services—while driving brand awareness, demand generation, and pipeline growth.

This is not a pure strategy role—and not a pure execution role.

It requires both.

This role will also manage a Marketing Coordinator and help scale marketing output across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Brand Activation & Awareness

Execute brand strategy and messaging across Target Hospitality and its business units (including Hyper/Scale and Logistics)

Drive initiatives that increase brand awareness and market visibility across target industries

Ensure consistency of voice, positioning, and visual identity across all channels

Translate strategic direction into clear, compelling, and actionable marketing outputs

Campaigns, Awareness & Lead Generation

Develop and execute integrated campaigns that build brand awareness and support lead generation and pipeline growth

Partner with business development to align marketing efforts with priority opportunities

Build and scale thought leadership platforms (e.g., series like In the Middle of Nowhere)

Track and optimize campaign performance to improve engagement, visibility, and conversion

Digital Presence (Website & Online)

Manage and continuously improve the company websites and digital presence

Ensure messaging, positioning, and content are aligned with brand strategy

Optimize site experience for engagement, lead capture, and conversion

Partner with internal teams or external vendors on updates and enhancements

Salesforce (SFDC) & Marketing Operations

Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) to support marketing campaigns and lead tracking

Improve visibility into pipeline, campaign performance, and ROI

Partner with sales and operations to ensure clean handoffs and reporting

Support the development of scalable marketing processes and workflows

Content & Execution

Develop high-impact content: LinkedIn posts, sales materials, case studies, presentations

Manage creative development (internal or external) from concept through delivery

Own timelines, outputs, and quality - this is a hands-on role

Events & Field Marketing

Plan and execute industry events, conferences, and customer engagements (e.g., DataCloud, PTC)

Manage all aspects of event marketing: messaging, materials, logistics, and follow-up

Ensure events support brand visibility, relationship building, and lead generation

Sales & Business Development Support

Create materials that directly support revenue generation (proposals, leave-behinds, decks)

Align closely with BD and leadership to support priority pursuits

Translate field insights into marketing opportunities

Team Leadership

Manage and develop a Marketing Coordinator

Prioritize work, delegate effectively, and ensure high-quality output across initiatives

Help build scalable processes for a growing marketing function

Multi-Sector Marketing

Support marketing execution across multiple verticals:

  • Digital infrastructure (data centers / AI)
  • Energy and infrastructure
  • Government services

Adapt messaging by sector without diluting brand consistency

WHO YOU ARE

Experience

5–10+ years in marketing, ideally with agency experience

Experience supporting B2B, infrastructure, or complex service-based businesses

Proven experience in campaign development, brand awareness, lead generation, and event marketing

Working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC)

Experience managing or mentoring junior team members

Capabilities

Strong creative writer and storyteller

Ability to translate strategy into execution quickly and effectively

Experience managing campaigns end-to-end

Strong project management and organizational skills

Attention to detail and brand discipline

Mindset

Thinks like an owner, not a coordinator

Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Moves fast, but with intention

Comfortable with ambiguity and building as they go

Understands how marketing drives real business outcomes—not just activity

Why This Role Matters

We are operating at the intersection of major macro trends—AI, digital infrastructure, energy, domestic resource development, and others.

As projects move into more remote and complex environments, how we build brand awareness, activate our positioning, generate demand, and support sales becomes a critical differentiator.

This role will help bring that to life.

Ideal Background (Bonus)

Agency experience (brand, creative, or integrated marketing)

Experience supporting sales-led organizations

Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, or industrial markets
