Fully REMOTE. West Coast US.

A growing supplier of science-backed nutraceutical and functional food ingredients serving the dietary supplement, wellness, sports nutrition, functional beverage, and broader health-focused CPG markets. The company partners with leading global ingredient manufacturers to bring clinically supported wellness solutions to brands across NA.

This is a strong opportunity for an energetic, relationship-driven sales professional who wants to grow in the expanding nutraceutical, supplement, and functional nutrition space. The position is focused on developing new business and managing customer relationships with supplement brands, functional beverage companies, food and beverage manufacturers, formulators, R&D teams, purchasing contacts, contract manufacturers, and wellness-focused brands.

Prospect new accounts, present ingredient solutions, manage the sales process from introduction through close, support existing customers, attend key industry events such as SupplySide West, Expo West, and Vitafoods, and stay current on growth categories including sports nutrition, metabolic health, healthy aging, collagen/protein, gut health, and functional wellness.

This is a growth role with room to make an impact. Get exposure to innovative ingredient platforms, emerging wellness trends, supplier partners, and customers developing next-generation health and nutrition products. The company’s portfolio is positioned around categories such as metabolic health, sports performance, gut health, active lifestyle, beauty-from-within, joint health, mitochondrial energy, menopause support, and cellular protection.

Qualifications:

2+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience, preferably in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food ingredients, CPG, functional beverages, ingredient distribution.

Must be comfortable prospecting, building relationships, traveling for customer meetings and trade shows, and working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

Ideal sales experience from: Dietary supplement brands, functional beverage companies,

nutraceutical ingredient suppliers or distributors, contract manufacturers / CDMOs / CMOs

Sports nutrition, wellness, collagen, protein, metabolic health, gut health, or healthy aging categories.

Compensation:

Base salary up to $75K with some flexibility depending on experience.

The commission plan pays 5% on all sales from the first dollar, with a sliding scale that can increase up to 7% on additional sales above established thresholds. Based on performance, a successful candidate could earn an additional $20K to $30K+ in commission.

The company also provides a local travel allowance and covers all approved business travel expenses. Supplemental allowance for health insurance coverage.
