Our direct client has an opening for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer 11694-1

This position is up to 12 months, with the option of extension, in Columbia, SC

DEA needs an Architect or Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with a broad understanding of general cloud engineering and design patterns and deep level of experience with our tech stack to enable rapid implementation efforts while maintaining support of existing services.

o WORKS TO COMPLETE WORK ITEM ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA AND THE TEAM’S DEFINITION OF DONE.

• WORKS WITHIN THE TEAM’S DEVOPS MODEL AND ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR END-TO-END QUALITY OF THEIR WORK AND SUPPORT.

• WORKS WITH THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM, ARCHITECTURE, AND STAKEHOLDERS TO DESIGN AND ENHANCE BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL PROCESSES AND SOLUTIONS.

• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 10 YEARS OF APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT USING SOLID OBJECT-ORIENTED DESIGN PRINCIPALS AND STANDARDS

• ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY AND WORK IN A COLLABORATIVE, TEAM ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT.

• JAVA DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE INCLUDING SPRINGBOOT, MAVEN, JUNIT.

• PYTHON DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE INCLUDING PYSPARK, PANDAS, FLASK, PYTEST.

• HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH AZURE API MANAGEMENT, STORAGE ACCOUNTS, ACR, AKS, CONTAINER APPS, FUNCTION APPS, KEY VAULT, EVENT GRID, SQL MANAGED INSTANCE.

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• UNDERSTANDING OF NETWORKING SERVICES AND CONCEPTS IN AZURE.

• EXPERIENCE OPERATING ON AN AGILE DEVELOPMENT TEAM (SCRUM AND\OR KANBAN)

• UNDERSTANDING OF EVENT DRIVEN ARCHITECTURES.

• EXPERIENCE USING AZURE DEVOPS FOR CI\CD PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT, BACKLOG MANAGEMENT, ETC.
