What is a Remote M&E?

A Remote M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) job involves assessing and measuring the impact, effectiveness, and efficiency of projects or programs from a remote location. Professionals in this role collect and analyze data, develop performance indicators, and generate reports to inform decision-making. Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate virtually with diverse teams are essential soft skills. These skills help ensure that programs are effectively monitored and evaluated, strengthening project outcomes and facilitating evidence-based decision-making, even in a remote work environment.
