• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique emotional and psychological needs of clients, addressing issues that arise during their rehabilitation journey.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans and achievable goals aligned with their rehabilitation objectives.
• Act as an advocate for clients and their families by connecting them with community resources, support networks, and social services that aid in their overall recovery and enhance their quality of life.
• Provide timely support and crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring the emotional stability and safety of clients during critical moments in their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans, upholding the highest legal and ethical standards of confidentiality and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to coordinate care and contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Educate clients and their families on the emotional dimensions of rehabilitation, teaching coping strategies and self-care techniques to facilitate their transition throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and networking efforts to strengthen referral resources and foster valuable partnerships within the community.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Trinidad Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals recovering from addiction, trauma, and other mental health issues. Your role will be integral in navigating their emotional landscape and guiding them toward personal growth and healing.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Commitment to upholding ethical counseling practices and maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Proficiency in remote counseling technologies and platforms.

• Demonstrated experience working in rehabilitation or healthcare settings, particularly in mental health.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
