Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct secure, confidential telehealth counseling sessions utilizing our proprietary platform, ensuring each session meets the highest standards of privacy and client care.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, crafting personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

  • Provide immediate support and interventions in crisis scenarios, utilizing therapeutic techniques to stabilize clients and ensure their safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Trinidad Behavioral Health Center, you will primarily work with diverse populations, including adults and adolescents experiencing various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. Your role will involve employing culturally competent approaches to ensure that all clients feel seen, heard, and understood in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Counseling or a related field is required; a Master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is essential.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technology is critical to ensure successful client interactions.
