Job Description

SOSi is seeking a Technical Instructor to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Responsible for developing and delivering advanced instruction to an expanded title authority program training audience such as title 10/50 Military Intelligence Program (MIP) and in areas such as:
    • ESRI Software and Geospatial Data Analysis
    • API-based data integration and request workflows
    • Jupyter Notebook-based data engineering and geospatial data layer creation
    • Metadata tagging, data stewardship, and catalog integration
    • OSINT analysis techniques and structured reporting workflows
  • Coordinates closely with the Training Coordinator to align technical content with approved training events and mission objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a training data tracking and reporting capability, under the direction of the Government, to support program performance visibility and strategic planning.
  • Provide dashboard inputs summarizing this data for Government approval on a bi-weekly basis (aligned with sprint reporting) and shall update the dashboard within 5 business days following the conclusion of each training event.
  • Document the planning, delivery, and evaluation of each training program purchased, including travel coordination, curriculum verification, and on-site logistics. A post-execution summary report shall be submitted within 10 business days of event completion.
  • Coordinate country clearances, travel arrangements, and liaison activities with sponsoring Commands, U.S. embassies, and partner nation representatives.
  • Facilitate graduation ceremonies, ensuring proper documentation of participant completion and skill mastery.
  • Implement post-training assessments and evaluations, gathering participant feedback and performance metrics to refine future training iterations.
  • Provide a comprehensive training impact report, detailing the effectiveness of knowledge transfer, skill adoption rates, and recommendations for program enhancement.
  • Administer post-training language satisfaction surveys to partner nation trainees, collecting quantitative and qualitative feedback on language accessibility, translation accuracy, and instructor communication.
  • Compile and analyze feedback data quarterly, identifying trends, deficiencies, and areas for improvement in multilingual training delivery.
  • Provide an annual report summarizing language feedback insights, corrective actions taken, and recommendations for improving multilingual training effectiveness.
  • Host remote training materials, provide access to self-paced learning modules, and facilitate sessions.
  • Track participant engagement in remote training materials.
  • Provide a quarterly report on remote training participation, knowledge retention rates, and areas requiring further improvement.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Intelligence Studies, Data Science, or a related field, or;
    • a minimum of five (5) years of equivalent experience in technical training, curriculum development, or applied instruction.
  • Expert-level knowledge in data engineering, geospatial analysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and delivering training on the use of Jupyter Notebooks, API integrations, metadata management, and structured data layer development.
  • Familiarity with secure data environments, role-based access controls (RBAC), and cataloging standards is essential.
  • Skilled in creating and adapting hands-on instructional content for technical users, including practical exercises that simulate real-world data processing, analysis, and visualization tasks.
  • Ability to coordinate with the Training Coordinator to align delivery with broader training objectives and ensure content is responsive to Government-directed priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to facilitate documentation, post-training support, and dynamic engagement with both U.S. and partner nation personnel.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of OSINT methodologies, geospatial data analysis, or intelligence tradecraft, with practical exposure to ESRI ArcGIS, dashboard analytics, Jupyter Notebooks, or other mission-relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting interagency collaboration, training program evaluation, or working with international or partner-nation personnel is desirable but not required for baseline qualification.
  • The position is suited for junior to mid-level professionals with strong instructional delivery skills and the ability to develop practical, scenario-based technical content.
