Job description

A Massachusetts-based health system is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for a remote locum tenens assignment. This role provides emergency diagnostic imaging reads across multiple facilities through a centralized teleradiology model.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Days or Evenings or Nights
  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday
  • Hours: 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm or 2pm to 9p or 4pm to 11pm or 8pm to 4am or 11pm to 7am
  • Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret emergency diagnostic imaging studies remotely.
  • Provide timely, accurate reads in support of emergency and trauma services.
  • Collaborate with a team of remote radiologists using shared worklists.
  • Maintain expected productivity targets while ensuring quality and turnaround standards.
  • Support coverage across multiple affiliated facilities within a centralized reading workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • CSR registration
  • Experience in Level I Trauma care
  • Proficiency in Emergency Diagnostic Radiology

Desired Skills:

  • Emergency Radiology fellowship training
