Project Manager (Digital Payments)

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead small to medium-sized projects supporting a large-scale digital payments modernization initiative. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project plans and risks, and help drive successful delivery of customer-facing payment solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on project management experience along with knowledge of digital payments, payment information, and customer payment interactions.

  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $40.00-$47.00/hr W2

What You'll Do:

  • Define project scope, charters, objectives, stakeholders, high-level requirements, and project team responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones, budgets, resources, and key performance objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and SMEs, establish RACIs and rules of engagement, and drive alignment across project activities.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, and communicate status and updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate effective project meetings and partner with change management professionals to support adoption, readiness, and successful project outcomes.

  • Project management experience leading small to medium-sized initiatives and managing scope, timelines, resources, risks, and project outcomes.
  • Experience working within the digital payments space, with knowledge of payment information, payment processes, and customer payment interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and work effectively with leaders, SMEs, and other stakeholders.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and experience developing project plans, RACIs, milestones, and project status reporting.
  • Strong communication, organization, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
