Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental and emotional health needs, taking into consideration their medical histories and family dynamics.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals and capabilities, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing solution-focused strategies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential records that comply with HIPAA and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals, including nurses, physicians, and chaplains, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients and families.
• Participate in clinical supervision meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and develop skills within a supportive framework.
• Engage in continuous education to stay informed about the latest research and best practices within the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our hospice center serves a diverse population, primarily composed of individuals with terminal illnesses and their families. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LMSW license in the state of Nevada.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
