This is a full-time, remote position based in Bakersfield, California, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule within a supportive, virtual work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly evidence-based mental health care through secure, live video sessions for individual adult clients, guiding them toward their treatment objectives.
• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatric care providers and fellow counselors to construct comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Utilize automated symptom self-assessments, functional improvement metrics, and goal progress measures to track clients’ progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
• Participate in ongoing clinical support through weekly live drop-in consultations to seek guidance and share insights with leadership and colleagues.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using our integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and treatment software.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to serve a diverse client population that includes adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more acute conditions requiring specialized care. We are particularly dedicated to serving individuals from backgrounds that have historically faced obstacles in accessing mental health services, such as those at risk of suicide. This role demands a commitment to providing culturally responsive care across various demographics and mental health disorders.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with adult populations experiencing mental health issues.
• Valid state licensure, allowing for independent practice as a Therapist, Counselor, or Psychologist for at least one year.
• A robust understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment practices.
• Aptitude for embracing technology and integrating digital tools into clinical workflows.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy to higher-risk populations or those with complex mental health needs.
• Two or more years of recent experience utilizing CBT and other evidence-based interventions focused on individual adults.
• A welcoming attitude towards working with a broad spectrum of mental health disorders and a dedication to culturally sensitive care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, supplemented by performance-based bonuses.
