As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand client needs and challenges effectively.
• Developing and implementing individualized, person-centered treatment plans that address the unique goals of each client.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to provide therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting recovery and enhancing daily living skills.
• Facilitating skill-building activities that empower clients to develop coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• Educating clients about available community resources and actively advocating for their needs while connecting them to appropriate services.
• Regularly assessing and monitoring client progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Your work will specifically target individuals aged 18 and older facing mental health challenges that impact their ability to maintain community stability and independence. You will collaborate with clients to develop holistic and personalized coping strategies, ensuring that they receive the support needed to thrive. By combining clinical expertise with genuine empathy, you will foster a safe and trusting environment for clients to explore their mental health journeys.

To thrive in this role, you should hold:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state license, such as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• The ability to practice independently without supervision.
• A track record demonstrating no disciplinary actions on your license.

We prefer candidates who possess several years of experience providing direct clinical services, have a strong understanding of behavioral and anger management techniques, and excel in maintaining client confidentiality. Familiarity with family developmental issues and the ability to assist clients in developing daily and community living skills will be advantageous. Strong digital literacy and a reliable Wi-Fi connection are essential for effective remote service delivery.
