The Opportunity

  • Leverage an existing portfolio of corporate, foundation, and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) relationships to secure new and repeat funding
  • Personally solicit, negotiate, and close major gifts and sponsorships ($50K-$1M+)
  • Develop and maintain active donor pipelines, tracking prospects from introduction through close
  • Execute tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for priority donors
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of fundraising technology platforms, including:
  • Donor management / CRM tools
  • Digital donation and campaign platforms
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure systems support donor tracking, reporting, and compliance
  • Own the fundraising operating budget related to tools, platforms, and campaigns
  • Contribute a limited role in marketing strategy as it relates to fundraising campaigns (message alignment, donor-facing content-not brand ownership)
  • Design and execute digital fundraising campaigns to complement relationship-based fundraising
  • Use digital campaigns to feed and expand the major gift pipeline
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics (conversion, average gift, donor retention) to refine execution
  • Coordinate timing and sequencing of campaigns with donor cultivation efforts
  • Translate clinical outcomes, program results, and impact data into compelling donor-facing narratives
  • Represent Vituity Cares Foundation externally with credibility and confidence
  • Prepare customized pitch materials, proposals, and executive-level donor briefings
  • Serve as a trusted external ambassador aligned with VCF's mission and values
  • Advise leadership on emerging donor trends, partnership opportunities, and market feedback
  • Strategy is demonstrated through informed execution, not standalone strategic ownership

Required Experience and Competencies

  • Translate clinical outcomes, program results, and impact data into compelling donor-facing narratives required.
  • Represent Vituity Cares Foundation externally with credibility and confidence required.
  • Prepare customized pitch materials, proposals, and executive-level donor briefings required.
  • Serve as a trusted external ambassador aligned with VCF's mission and values required.
  • Advise leadership on emerging donor trends, partnership opportunities, and market feedback required.
  • Strategy is demonstrated through informed execution, not standalone strategic ownership required.
  • Master's Degree plus 10 years of experience in non-profit or healthcare management in a leadership role including budgeting and financial management Preferred.
  • Advanced major gift solicitation and closing techniques.
  • Ability to independently manage full fundraising cycles.
  • Budget awareness and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • High emotional intelligence and credibility with senior donors.
  • Ability to build trust rapidly and maintain long-term donor relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to interpret fundraising metrics and campaign performance.
  • CRM and donor platform literacy (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, Classy, Givebutter, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills to manage pipelines, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex data into compelling donor narratives.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $102,290 - $130,420, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
