Job Summary
EMCOR Group, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Solutions Administrator who would support EMCOR's data center, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments. This role helps maintain reliable, secure, and well-documented infrastructure services for EMCOR Group and its operating companies, including implementation support, troubleshooting, operational coordination, vendor follow-up, and day-to-day administration under the direction of senior IT leadership.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Support and maintain assigned data center, Azure, Microsoft 365, and related technology solutions.
• Assist with upgrades, configuration changes, monitoring, and incident response for data center and cloud solutions to support reliability, security, functionality, and performance.
• Research, monitor, and evaluate relevant technologies, trends, and operational improvements; provide input, documentation, and observations to support management review.
• Assist with hardware and software procurement activities, renewals, inventory updates, and service/support agreement tracking.
• Coordinate with Desktop Support staff, vendors, and partners to help resolve assigned issues and complete infrastructure-related tasks.
• Apply working knowledge of storage, backup, network, security, and compute platforms to support assigned systems and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with administrators and support teams at Corporate and Divisional levels to share information, follow standards, and resolve assigned technical issues.
Qualifications
• B.A. / B.S. or equivalent experience required
• Four to six years minimum experience with Active Directory, DNS, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Cisco technologies, and Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with server, storage, and backup hardware platforms such as Cisco UCS, Dell, IBM, NetApp, EMC, Nimble, Pure, Exagrid, or similar technologies.
• Experience with backup solutions such as Cohesity, Veeam, or similar platforms.
• Effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels of the company.
• Must be capable of delivering a very high level of customer service.
• Possess a strong sense of urgency and understand that time-sensitive issues require prompt attention.
• Must be a self-starter who can identify needs, take appropriate action, and follow through to completion.
