Job Description

Endpoint Administrator/System Admin with our direct client for long term contract. Extension/Conversion is highly possible.

Location - Brentwood, TN (Remote)

Administration of IGEL/UMS console. Manage, update thin clients with IGEL Operating system for CWOW support and rollout.

The Endpoint Administrator provides direction and strategic guidance for the overall management and health of Client's endpoint devices.  There are multiple levels of responsibilities needed for our Endpoint administrator including: vendor coordination, close coordination with development and engineering teams, and overall knowledge of endpoint devices to include thin clients.  Endpoint administrator must have a detailed understanding of Incident and Problem Management process as SME with our Service Excellence teams; to include knowledge-base articles and participation in multiple incident or problem resolution team/meetings.  The Endpoint administrator will be responsible for large or small scale rollout or other deployments for both hardware and software based initiatives.  The Endpoint administrator is expected to provide leadership and subject matter expertise during those deployments.  Lastly Endpoint administrator is expected to keep abreast industry's best practices and technology trends to lead Client as our Village moves forward with endpoint solutions.

Skills for this position.

Linux Administration, Ubuntu preferred

System Admin experience, particularly in supporting, updating and managing endpoint devices

Dell Wyse Management Suite

iGel experience

Ability to automate common procedures and continuously look for and execute on opportunities to improve services and teammate experiences

Create and maintain documentation to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Configuration Documentation, Policy Documentation, Knowledge Based Articles and Training Documentation
