Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced xECM Engineer with deep expertise in OpenText Extended ECM, SAP S/4HANA integration, and AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating enterprise content management solutions using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Deployment
  • Design and implement OpenText xECM infrastructure on AWS using IaC (EKS Fargate, RDS, S3, VPC, Load Balancers)
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for automated xECM deployment
  • Containerize OpenText Content Server and related components using Docker
  • Manage container registry operations and image lifecycle (ECR, OpenText registry)
  • Implement auto-scaling, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for xECM on AWS
OpenText xECM & Documentum
  • Install, configure, and maintain OpenText Extended ECM for SAP (xECM) components
  • Administer Documentum Content Server, D2, and related applications
  • Configure Documentum repositories, workflows, and business object models
  • Perform Documentum version upgrades and patch management
  • Validate document storage, retrieval, retention policies, and archival processes
  • Troubleshoot Documentum-specific issues (DQL queries, methods, jobs)
SAP Integration
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA ArchiveLink interface for document management integration
  • Set up HTTP Content Repository connections (transactions: OAC0, OAC2, OAC3, CSADMIN)
  • Implement document linking for SAP business objects (FI documents, MM purchase orders, SD sales orders, etc.)
  • Configure SAP Document Management System (DMS) integration
  • Perform end-to-end validation of document flows between SAP and xECM
  • Troubleshoot SAP-to-Documentum connectivity and performance issues
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Write and maintain Terraform modules for xECM infrastructure components
  • Implement version control and code review processes for infrastructure code
  • Create reusable Terraform modules for multi-environment deployments (Dev, QA, Prod)
  • Manage state files, workspaces, and remote backends
  • Implement infrastructure security best practices (least privilege, encryption, VPC design)
DevOps & Automation
  • Build automated deployment pipelines for xECM components
  • Implement configuration management and secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, Parameter Store)
  • Create monitoring and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Develop automated backup and recovery procedures
  • Write deployment documentation and runbooks
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills
  • xECM/Documentum: 5+ years of experience with OpenText Extended ECM and Documentum
