Job Summary:
This role involves building and maintaining the foundational operating system layer for a large-scale hybrid infrastructure. You will be responsible for automating the entire lifecycle of Linux hosts, from configuration and patching to image creation. The position requires deep troubleshooting skills across various system layers and the ability to lead projects to successful production deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Automate Linux host configuration, patching, and image creation.
  • Manage core system services, base images, and infrastructure components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across OS and service layers.
  • Contribute to diverse codebases for issue diagnosis and resolution.
  • Drive projects from concept to production, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 7+ years working with Linux in production
  • Strong automation skills (Python and/or Ruby, Ansible preferred)
  • Experience debugging complex systems issues
  • Comfortable working across cloud + on-prem environments
Industry Experience:
