Title: System Administrator L3 - Onsite Only-
Location : Raymond, OH
Work Type: Onsite -4 days a week
Job Description:
Daily Tasks Performed:

  • Maintain the Linux environment used for CAE Development on both Virtual and Physical Machines, on-prem and on cloud.
  • CAE Application Installation and Maintenance, CAE HPC Job Submission Script Maintenance, System Patching and Maintenance, Task Automation

Daily/Weekly Tasks:
  • CAE Linux User Support - Incidents, Questions, etc.
  • Handle Application Installation and Update Requests
  • Monitor overall health of CAE Linux Environment
  • Provide Status update to Team Leadership on work completed, work pending, and roadblocks

Monthly/Annual Tasks:
  • Apply monthly patches to systems
  • Maintain and develop automation for application installation, network storage management, and user management
  • Work with the CAE Team Leadership and Business Leadership to continuously improve the CAE Linux Environment

Must Haves:
  • Linux System Administrator Experience
  • Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Experience - Pre, Post, and Solving
  • Familiar with High Performance Computing (HPC)
  • Familiar with AWS and Azure Cloud
  • BASH Scripting, Python, Server Patching
  • Kubernetes, Docker
  • Ansible
  • Teraform / AWS Cloud Formation

  • Associates (minimum)
