Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer - Applications Type: Long-term Contract Contractor Work Model: Remote Responsibilities Manage, support, and optimize enterprise business applications supporting plant operations, including EAM/ERP systems and the Dynamic Work Execution Platform (DWEP). Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise applications in Windows and Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Lead conversion of procedures into digital instructions, collaborating with crossโfunctional teams to enhance usability and compliance.
Support integration between enterprise platforms such as IoT, GIS, SCADA, financial, and HR systems, including automation of deployment and monitoring. Participate in business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity compliance efforts, supporting audits and regulatory requirements. Lead or contribute to system lifecycle initiatives, including upgrades, implementation, and retirement to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate effectively with technical and nonโtechnical stakeholders, fostering teamwork and collaboration. Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 7+ years managing enterprise or business applications, with at least 5 years administering ERP/EAM platforms in regulated environments such as utilities or manufacturing.
Handsโon experience with ERP/EAM systems like Oracle, IBM Maximo, or Asset Suite. Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and API/ETL integration tools. Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), hybrid environments, and enterprise application hosting.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, ITSM tools, and ITIL processes. Strong troubleshooting and problemโsolving skills with excellent communication abilities. Preferred: 5+ years experience with nuclearโgrade procedures and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FERC, NERC CIP, or NQAโ1.
