This role is primarily remote, designed to give you the flexibility needed to balance personal and professional commitments while maintaining high standards of patient care. Although your working hours will largely adhere to regular business hours, occasional evening availability may be required to accommodate the needs of our clients during peak times. Our clinic utilizes advanced telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient interactions and enhance service delivery.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify patients' mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention strategies for patients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops that address relevant topics such as stress management, coping skills, and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams comprising medical professionals, physical therapists, and community outreach personnel to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Engage in outreach programs and preventive initiatives that promote mental health awareness and foster community connections.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions, treatment progress, and clinical outcomes in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

Our counseling services cater to a diverse range of individuals in the Pomona community, including adolescents, adults, and families. We focus on providing culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of all our patients. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring that they feel heard, valued, and supported during their therapeutic journey.

• Active state-issued license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Proven ability to understand and address the complex mental health issues experienced by clinic patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with patients and collaboration with a wide range of medical personnel.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and effective brief therapy models suitable for diverse clinical settings.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing a varied caseload.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar setting providing mental health services.
• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions or workshops related to mental wellness.
• Proficiency in telehealth services and technology.
• Interest in participating in research initiatives within the field of mental health.

• Annual salary range of USD 115,000 - 130,000, based on experience and qualifications.
