Working remotely within a telehealth setting offers the convenience and comfort of providing therapy from home or any place of your choice. Key Responsibilities

As a licensed mental health counselor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to establish and refine treatment plans based on clients' specific needs.
  • Providing evidence-based therapy methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Engaging in collaborative treatment planning with clients and maintaining a trajectory towards recovery through regular follow-ups.
  • Maintaining a well-documented caseload; prompt completion of session notes and required paperwork ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participating in weekly staff meetings to review client cases, discuss treatment strategies, and share best practices among peers.
  • Developing referrals and engaging with other mental health professionals, including case workers and community organizations, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Enhancing our organizational culture by contributing ideas for team building and professional development activities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our mental health counselors work with a diverse array of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology for client management and telehealth platforms.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your application:

  • Previous experience in telehealth counseling or remote service delivery.
  • Training in specialized therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience working with specific populations, including but not limited to, veterans, adolescents, or those in crisis.
