Job description

An established and growing civil litigation firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant for a full-time contract position that may convert to direct employment.

Location and Schedule

  • Irvine, California
  • Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 a.m.โ€“5:00 p.m.
  • In-office preferred; hybrid or remote may be considered for well-qualified candidates.

Compensation

  • $30โ€“$48 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • File and serve pleadings in California state and federal courts, maintain litigation calendars, prepare routine legal documents, coordinate IMEs and litigation services, assist with trial preparation, review court dockets, and provide general case support.

Qualifications

  • Four or more years of legal assistant experience preferred. Civil litigation experience, knowledge of California court filing requirements, strong calendaring skills, and familiarity with One Legal, ECF, and PACER are strongly preferred.
