High Focus Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. This full-time role offers the unique opportunity to provide specialized mental health care to individuals recovering from trauma, within a supportive and empathetic setting. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will leverage your expertise in trauma-informed care to make a meaningful difference in our clientsโ€™ lives.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to structure your work-life balance effectively while still making a significant impact on our clientsโ€™ mental health. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' histories and recommend personalized treatment approaches.
  • Craft and implement individualized treatment plans with a strong focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Administer effective therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), aimed at fostering resilience and healing.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the processing of trauma and the development of coping skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to ensure a seamless provision of care and to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize individuals in need.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available community resources to enhance understanding and engagement.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal standards and ethical practices.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
