Our practice utilizes an electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring streamlined documentation and client management. • Conduct comprehensive assessments by meeting with clients to evaluate their mental health status and collect relevant background information.
• Create individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques and culturally responsive practices.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, either individually or in group settings, providing emotional support and teaching coping strategies to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
• Document all client interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in our EHR system to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond to crises with strong intervention techniques, employing effective communication and de-escalation strategies.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, which includes individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, from severe disorders such as schizophrenia to common conditions like depression and anxiety. This role requires sensitivity to cultural differences, as the clients we serve come from various backgrounds. Your ability to build trust and rapport will be essential in guiding clients through their therapeutic processes.

• Education: A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensing: A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• Experience: A minimum of four years of related professional experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficiency in the latest evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural competence in therapy.
• Prior experience with crisis intervention and developing treatment plans that lead to successful outcomes.
• Comfort in utilizing electronic health record systems effectively to manage client information.
