• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address clients' specific addiction challenges alongside underlying mental health issues.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to encourage client engagement and progress.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care, actively contributing to team meetings and case consultations focused on each client’s progress.
• Educate clients and their families about the recovery process, empowering them to participate in meaningful support strategies that enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous electronic records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care documentation.

This role serves a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with various forms of addiction such as alcohol, prescription drugs, and illicit substances. Our clients often present co-occurring mental health disorders, necessitating a tailored approach to their treatment. Your expertise will significantly impact their recovery journey, helping them reclaim their lives and relationships.

• A valid, recognized license (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities of substance use disorders and recovery pathways.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire clients toward positive change.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a substance abuse treatment facility or those who have worked with dual-diagnosis clients will be prioritized. Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles is also highly desirable, as many of our clients are navigating the repercussions of past traumas in their recovery.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
