Foresight Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. This remote position offers flexibility in work hours while collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to providing early intervention services. As part of a community health clinic, you will engage with colleagues through virtual meetings, share best practices, and maintain a team-oriented approach to case management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the developmental needs of children.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring tailored support for each family.
  • Monitor and report on child outcomes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality intervention services.
  • Provide education, resources, and emotional support to families to enhance their child's development.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to create joint plans with families, addressing specific needs through structured strategies.
  • Implement IFSPs with scheduled frequency based on observed progress and family priorities.
  • Employ the coaching model and natural environment teaching techniques to encourage youthful interactions and learning.
  • Adhere to all Federal and State regulations to maintain the health and safety of the team and clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with children from birth to age three who may be experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Your expertise will guide intervention efforts, helping these children develop critical physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills while working closely with their families to navigate the early intervention landscape.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering respectful and collaborative relationships with families and team members.
