Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse populations, including groups, families, couples, and individuals.
  • Employ a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to clients’ needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrative client care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions to stay informed about emerging trends in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client base exhibiting various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and family-related issues. Many clients may have limited access to traditional mental health services, making your role especially impactful in connecting them to vital resources and support.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential.
  • A thorough understanding of legal and ethical regulations pertaining to the practice of counseling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport across a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other healthcare technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a community health setting is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, dependent on experience and client availability.
