• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), based on individual client preferences and conditions.
• Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients, providing ongoing encouragement and accountability throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions when applicable, harnessing collective insights and fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring a comprehensive record of client progress and treatment outcomes.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Acra Behavioral Health & Consulting, you will encounter a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other psychological disorders. Our emphasis on remote therapy allows us to serve clients not just within Columbus, Georgia, but also across various geographical boundaries, ensuring that mental health care is within reach for many.

• A current and valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
• Demonstrate genuine empathy, compassion, and a strong understanding of diverse client backgrounds and experiences.
• Exhibit robust organizational and time management skills, effectively balancing therapy sessions, documentation, and self-care.

• Prior experience in remote therapy or telehealth services is a plus, showcasing familiarity with the unique dynamics of virtual counseling.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic interventions and modalities that enhance client engagement and outcomes.
• Experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic client care.
