Peace of Mind Mental Health Care & Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments tailored to child development needs, utilizing standardized tools and evidence-based practices.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development by collaborating with families and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Monitor and analyze outcomes to measure the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Provide educational support and family guidance on strategies that enhance the child's growth and development.
  • Utilize the coaching model and promote Natural Learning Environment Practices to foster a supportive setting for childrenโ€™s learning and development.
  • Ensure adherence to all Federal and State regulations, as well as internal policies, to guarantee the safety and well-being of the staff and the families we serve.
  • Develop strong rapport with children and their families, facilitating a trusting relationship that enhances the therapeutic process.
  • Flexibly adapt approaches to meet the needs of each child based on their learning styles and developmental status.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus primarily on infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities. Our mission involves supporting these young clients to acquire essential skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication areas during their critical formative years. Your interventions will play a pivotal role in helping families navigate these challenges, providing not only therapeutic support but also tangible strategies that foster child development.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits
