As a remote role, your work will primarily involve digital communication with clients and team members, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions. We value flexibility in our work schedules; therefore, while core hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some adjustments may be necessary based on patient needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the unique needs of patients, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans that guide therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver effective therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that bring patients together to share experiences and build a sense of community while addressing common mental health concerns.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s mental health.
• Provide crisis intervention services, acting decisively and compassionately in mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and how to access community support resources.
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to shared learning and professional development initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health treatment by participating in ongoing education and training opportunities.

As a therapist at Life Carriage Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Georgia.
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
• Proven ability to deliver individual and group therapy to a varied clientele.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to foster therapeutic relationships effectively.
• Sound ethical judgment and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings.
• Knowledge or experience in crisis intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and practices.
