Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, crafting individualized treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to promote healing and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish personalized therapeutic goals and consistently monitor and document their progress.
  • Offer teletherapy options to clients, utilizing digital tools for effective communication and session management.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, ensuring clinical skills are up-to-date with current practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Connected Hearts Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families. You will address various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your therapeutic approach will be client-centered, aiming to create a respectful and trusting relationship to foster open communication. We prioritize inclusivity and advocate for all clients' needs, emphasizing cultural sensitivity in therapy.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients and foster a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Strong empathetic understanding and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences.
  • Proficiency in organizational and time management skills, allowing for effective caseload management and adherence to administrative tasks.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing therapy via telehealth platforms and familiarity with the technology involved.
  • Experience in addiction treatment or specialized therapy for trauma is highly desirable.
  • A history of collaborative teamwork in a mental health setting is a plus.
