• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and current symptoms, establishing meaningful connection and trust.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on recovery from trauma and resilience enhancement.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient progress.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment for patients to process their experiences, learn coping mechanisms, and promote overall healing.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive holistic and integrated care.
• Provide crisis intervention and facilitate support during trauma-related emergencies, acting as a stabilizing force in high-stress situations.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and utilization of community resources for extended support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development focused on trauma-informed care advancements.
• Continuously stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance clinical skills.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, manifesting symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Utilizing a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, you will empower clients to navigate their healing journey while facilitating support systems that promote resilience and recovery. By addressing both immediate pain and long-term psychological growth, you will play a crucial role in transforming lives.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, demonstrating expertise in trauma-informed practices.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and accompanying treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, underscoring a compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress, crisis situations.
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various digital communication tools.
• Demonstrated collaborative spirit within a multidisciplinary team.

We prefer candidates with specialized training in trauma-focused therapies, such as EMDR or TF-CBT, coupled with a robust understanding of resilience-building methodologies. Prior experience working in remote settings or telehealth environments is advantageous, along with familiarity with EHR systems and technology for delivering virtual care.
