The Director of Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in Imagine Learning's growth strategy by managing relationships with key partners across the education landscape and supporting new strategic partnership initiatives. This individual will be responsible for managing and strengthening ongoing partnerships, identifying and executing new partnership opportunities, and ensuring operational alignment with Imagine Learning’s strategic goals. The role will work in close collaboration with the full Corporate Development team, including the CFO & EVP Corporate Development Officer and VP of Corporate Development & Growth Strategy, as well as cross-functional leaders like the General Counsel, Vice Chair & Chief Revenue Officer and EVP & Chief Product Officer.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development and Growth Strategy.

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $150,000 and $200,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote. Candidates residing in the Northeastern US are preferred.

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 30% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as the primary relationship coordinator for existing strategic partners by addressing issues, exploring new opportunities, and ensuring consistent communication, delivery on partnership commitments, goal alignment and long-term value creation.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between Imagine Learning and partners, addressing issues, exploring new opportunities and ensuring delivery on partnership commitments.
  • Conduct regular partner reviews and develop strategies to maximize partnership performance and impact.
  • Work with internal teams, including Product and Sales, to ensure seamless execution and integration of partnership efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Development team and other internal stakeholders to support the execution of all partnership-related initiatives.
  • Provide key inputs to senior executives to inform decisions around partner strategy and optimization.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive partnership strategy to identify and evaluate areas to expand or deepen existing partnerships, including national organizations, educational institutions, and technology companies.
  • Support strategic planning discussions that identify new value streams within current partnerships.
  • Define and track KPIs, deliverables, and ROI for each existing partnership.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership to evaluate the health and impact of the partner portfolio.
  • Other duties as required.

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience in business development or relationship management, preferably in the education industry; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of the current K-12 education landscape.
  • Demonstrable track record building and growing successful partnerships.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate well with and influence senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to monitor strategy effectiveness and drive decision-making.
  • Experience with customer relations management (CRM) systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed to meet with external partners and internal teams.
