Work Environment

This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. You will be equipped with cloud-based Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure seamless documentation and compliance with all insurance requirements, including Medicaid and Medicare. Our team supports each clinician with the necessary tools and resources, allowing you to focus primarily on providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions via telehealth to address mental health challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in identifying and overcoming personal challenges.
  • Develop tailored treatment programs aimed at managing symptoms related to mental health, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients while maintaining their confidentiality and safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to integrate holistic approaches to clients' care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse populations experiencing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and dual diagnosis. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients achieve improved mental wellness through individualized support and therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Must hold an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling is essential.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and maintain productivity in a remote setting.
  • Proficient in using technology, with a reliable laptop/desktop, internet connection, and web camera for telehealth sessions.
