• Conduct thorough mental health assessments on new patients to evaluate their psychological state and identify appropriate treatment pathways.
• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans based on detailed patient evaluations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to provide effective treatment options.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that foster personal development and enhance patients’ coping mechanisms.
• Engage in crisis intervention protocols to provide immediate support and care during mental health emergencies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available resources, and treatment options.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay updated with the latest best practices in mental health.

You will work with a diverse group of individuals seeking assistance for a variety of mental health challenges. This may include patients dealing with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related issues. Your expertise will help these clients not only understand their conditions better but also empower them to take proactive steps towards recovery and resilience through professional guidance and support.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients from varied backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple caseloads while maintaining high-quality documentation.
• Experience and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient care.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience in mental health therapy, focusing on individual and group therapy.
• Demonstrated success in crisis intervention and emergency response.
