Work Environment

This role is designed to be fully remote, offering flexibility while serving families from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of childrenโ€™s developmental and emotional needs.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's unique circumstances.
  • Monitor and document outcomes, ensuring that treatment interventions are effective and aligned with family goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to families, equipping them with tools and resources to enhance their childโ€™s development.
  • Adhere strictly to all Federal and State regulations concerning social work practices.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to create joint plans with families, recommending strategies based on the child's developmental progress.
  • Implement IFSPs with enrolled families, adjusting the frequency of services according to developmental needs and family priorities.
  • Develop rapport with children, families, and team members to foster a healthy learning and support environment.
  • Utilize a coaching model and engage in natural environment teaching practices to maximize developmental outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to protect both staff and clients.

In this role, you will primarily serve young children, specifically infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Your work will focus on empowering these children and their families by implementing tailored intervention strategies that promote growth in various areas, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive and effective support.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW by the Department of Public Health.
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience working with children in early intervention settings.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to commute as required for assessments or team meetings.
  • Strong skills in adapting treatment approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles and developmental needs.
  • Commitment to employing Natural Learning Environment Practices in all client interactions.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, enhancing our service delivery to diverse populations.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully within a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in early intervention services with a focus on developmental disabilities.
  • Participation in multi-disciplinary teams addressing holistic child development.
  • Familiarity with community resources and programs that support families in need.
